AR/VR Design
AR/VR design - Augmented and Virtual Reality design - is the discipline behind creating immersive digital experiences that blend the physical and virtual worlds. It brings together high-fidelity 3D environments, human-centered spatial interfaces, meaningful interaction design, positional audio, and thoughtfully designed user flows. Every element is carefully crafted so the experience feels natural and intuitive inside a three-dimensional space. As users increasingly expect deeper, more engaging digital experiences, AR/VR design has become essential. It opens doors to new forms of storytelling, hands-on learning, advanced product visualization, and richer customer engagement - possibilities that simply aren’t achievable within traditional 2D interfaces.

Why AR/VR design matters
In the fast-growing world of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, design isn’t just a bonus feature - it’s the foundation of success. A poorly designed experience is abandoned almost immediately, while a well-crafted one delivers real, measurable value.
Design as a growth & ROI driver
-
Drives business impact - Well-designed AR/VR solutions increase engagement, extend session time, and build stronger emotional connections with your brand. That leads to higher conversions, stronger retention, and a healthier return on investment.
-
Transforms learning and storytelling - Immersive environments let users explore information in a natural, intuitive way. Whether it’s training, product demonstrations, or complex data visualization, AR/VR improves understanding and recall. For example, seeing a product at full scale, rotating it, or viewing it in context reduces purchase uncertainty and lowers support costs.
-
Ensures comfort and usability - Comfort is critical in immersive experiences. Professional AR/VR design uses smart interaction patterns, balanced spatial layouts, and thoughtful movement mechanics to minimize motion sickness and keep users immersed. Stable reference points and comfortable locomotion techniques make the experience feel intuitive - and encourage people to stay longer.

Why choose AR/VR design?
You need a partner who understands more than flat, 2D interfaces - someone who truly understands how people interact inside 3D space. We specialize in spatial interfaces and immersive interaction design, with deep expertise in virtual reality environments and the unique constraints that come with them.
Our approach is always human-centered. We combine rigorous UX research with strong technical knowledge to create immersive experiences that are comfortable, engaging, and accessible. Thanks to our cross-industry experience - from advanced training simulations and product configurators to branded retail AR - we design solutions that directly support your business goals and KPIs, not just visual aesthetics.
And we don’t stop at concepts. We deliver practical, developer-ready outputs - optimized 3D assets, clear interaction specifications, and well-defined performance budgets that speed up development, reduce risk, and significantly lower implementation costs.
In short, we don’t just design immersive experiences - we help you build spatial products that work, scale, and deliver real business value.
How it works step by step?
Our methodology is a structured, iterative process designed to reduce risk and ensure your spatial product delivers real impact from day one.
-
Discovery & Strategic Goals - We begin with stakeholder interviews, in-depth user research, and clear success metrics. From this, we define target personas and prioritize the most valuable use cases.
-
Concept & Spatial Flow - Next, we map detailed spatial flows, establish core interaction patterns, and create initial wireframes for key scenarios. Concepts are reviewed and validated with stakeholders before moving ahead.
-
Prototyping & Usability Testing - We quickly move into prototyping, building low - and mid-fidelity AR/VR mockups (including paper prototypes where useful) to run usability tests. These sessions focus on comfort, intuitive navigation, and smooth task completion.
-
High-Fidelity Design & Assets - Our team then produces production-ready deliverables: refined 3D assets, polished spatial UI, directional audio cues, and motion design - all packaged into clear, developer-ready files and style guidelines.
-
Implementation Support & Collaboration - During development, we work closely with your engineers, helping optimize assets, advising on performance, and iterating on interactions in real time to ensure alignment with the design vision.
-
Pilot & Data-Driven Iteration - We support a pilot launch, gather real user feedback and behavioral data, measure results against agreed KPIs, and refine the experience to maximize immersion and effectiveness.
-
Scale & Long-Term Maintenance - Finally, we help prepare for growth with rollout guidance, robust analytics setup, and a plan for ongoing content updates - keeping the experience relevant, scalable, and high-performing over time.

What is AR and VR design?
Augmented Reality (AR) overlays digital elements onto the real world - usually through a smartphone, tablet, or headset. Virtual Reality (VR), on the other hand, places the user inside a fully immersive, simulated 3D environment experienced through a headset.
AR/VR design is the discipline of creating the interfaces, interactions, and full user experiences within these spatial environments. It goes far beyond visuals alone - effective AR/VR design focuses on usability, comfort, and immersion, ensuring the experience feels intuitive, natural, and genuinely enjoyable to use.

What are AR and VR technologies?
Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are built on a combination of advanced hardware and software working together. They rely on motion tracking to follow head and hand movements, powerful 3D engines like Unity and Unreal, and a range of sensors - including cameras and depth sensors - to understand and map the surrounding environment.
AR works by anchoring digital information into real-world spaces, overlaying graphics and interactive elements onto what the user sees through a smartphone or AR glasses.
VR, in contrast, creates full immersion. Using high-resolution headsets such as Meta Quest, HTC Vive, or Apple Vision Pro, it replaces the real world with a completely virtual environment.
Together, these technologies fall under the umbrella of Extended Reality (XR) and are transforming industries - from training and design to marketing and education - by enabling richer, more interactive experiences.
Our role within this ecosystem is focused entirely on UX and interface design for AR, VR, and mixed reality experiences. We don’t build hardware - instead, we specialize in crafting intuitive, comfortable, and engaging spatial experiences for the people who use it. What tools do you use for prototyping?
Our AR/VR design workflow is built around industry-leading tools that support both early-stage planning and fully immersive 3D prototyping:
-
Figma -Used for initial UI structure, design systems, and mapping user flows before moving into 3D.
-
Unity / Unreal Engine - Our primary platforms for building interactive 3D prototypes and testing complex spatial interactions in real time.
-
Blender / Cinema 4D - Used for high-fidelity 3D modeling and creating optimized environmental assets and visuals.
-
Adobe Substance / Photoshop - Essential for textures, materials, and detailed visual elements inside the 3D environment.
In short: Figma helps us plan and wireframe quickly, while Unity and Unreal let us test real interactions and immersion. Our workflow is intentionally flexible, so we can easily integrate with your existing development pipeline or preferred platforms.
-
How long does a AR / VR project take?
Project timelines can vary widely and depend mainly on the scope and complexity of the solution. We typically work in two formats:
-
Short-term projects - Fast, focused engagements such as UX audits or lightweight prototypes designed to validate a concept. These usually take a few weeks.
-
Long-term projects -Larger initiatives, like complex training platforms or full process transformations, which may run over several months and include ongoing implementation support.
We always tailor the roadmap to your organization’s goals and resources, and we define realistic milestones together during the Discovery phase.
-
Do you design for Apple Vision Pro?
Yes - absolutely. We design for Apple Vision Pro and visionOS, and we understand the unique requirements of spatial computing on this platform. Creating experiences for Vision Pro means rethinking traditional interface patterns and adapting them for natural eye- and gesture-based interaction.
Our team stays closely aligned with Apple’s latest Human Interface Guidelines for spatial computing, ensuring every experience feels native, intuitive, and highly refined. We’re ready to help you innovate, experiment, and successfully launch products within the Apple Vision Pro ecosystem.
